Kory Knowles | Options Facilitator

Director: Americas & Pacific Ops

Combat decorated, Navy SEAL Kory Knowles has both served with and consulted with the SEAL teams for 30 years as a Naval Special Warfare operator with operational and management experience around the world in all environments.  Mr. Knowles is specialized in direct action, Special Reconnaissance, hostage rescue, counter-terrorism, unconventional warfare, submarine operations, shipboard penetration and maritime security operations.  Mr. Knowles was also Weapons & ordnance rep for SEAL Team 5, Delta & Hotel Platoon and Asst. Logistics Officer for NSW Task Unit Bravo during Exercise FOAL EAGLE.

His extensive training experience includes:

  • Development of the SPECWAR physical and mental training programs;

  • First Phase Instructor at BUD/S Naval Special Warfare Center; Coronado, California;

  • Managed BUD/S First Phase budgets, as well as administered, designed and implemented curriculum adopted by BUD/S for First Phase Instruction & Exercise;

  • Rehabilitation of injured BUD/S students with a 60% graduation rate following rehabilitation.  (Historic grad rate of BUD/S students is 23%);

  • Close Quarters Combat Instructor for San Diego & Los Angeles SWAT and Los Angeles ATF Agencies;

  • Royal Thai Navy SEALs and the Republic of Korea Navy SEALs instructor for demolitions, Visit/Board/Search/& Seizure (VBSS), combat diving, & small arms weapons and tactics training. 

 

Knowles' leadership and decision-making skills under the most severe conditions earned him the Southwest Service Medal with Bronze Star, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terror Service Medal, Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal, as well as other various medals and awards.

A 2019 graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, Knowles holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology.  Kory is currently finishing his Masters Degree also at Liberty University.  He is a graduate of NSW SEAL BUD/S Class 167 and an "A" school Nuclear Weapons Technician (Distinguished Graduate).

Prior to Archer Tactical, Knowles was also the founding member and President of Storm Force Management which created, installed and managed wireless network in Afghanistan with over 500 access points at Camp Arena.  This one network served businesses, the Italian Forward Operating Base (FOB) and hundreds of individual users.  His firm provided technology services to U.S. Military, Government, NATO, and other defense contractors in Afghanistan.  In addition, Storm Force had contract awards from NATO Regional Command West supporting Administration, Drone, and Psychological Operations.
